A Sofia e o Pedro, da 9 séculos guardaram uma série de papéis antigos que herdaram da papelaria que existia antes da loja que agora dinamizam. Fizeram-no com o intuito de um dia conseguirem dar-lhe uma nova vida e desafiaram-me a criar um produto que permitisse reutilizar este material e também, de alguma forma, dignificá-lo.
Tive total liberdade criativa - quanto à tipologia de produto, ao formatos e à escolha/conjugação de papéis, texturas e cores - o que me permitiu arriscar mais e criar cadernos únicos, todos eles diferentes.
Os cadernos foram todos cosidos à mão e têm miolo de papel pautado, liso e até de veludo misturados. Cores como mostarda, turquesa, azul, rosa, vermelho, preto conjugados de forma diferente e em 2 formatos: 1 vertical e outro horizontal.
A coleção chama-se PAPEL DA CASA, é de edição limitada e esta é a descrição que aparece em cada caderno, num papel também ele antigo.
"Este caderno é composto por folhas com muitos anos, origens e destinos que nos deixam imaginar profissões, ocupações e rituais que, provavelmente, já não existem. Nesta colecção, dar uso a algo que já não se usa foi o nosso papel. Que a história continue.”.

Sofia and Pedro, from 9 séculos, kept a series of old papers they inherited from the stationery shop that existed before the one they now run. They did this with the intention of one day giving it new life and challenged me to create a product that would allow the material to be reused and, in some way, dignified.
I had total creative freedom regarding the type of product, the formats, and the choice/combination of papers, textures, and colors, which allowed me to take more risks and create unique notebooks, each one different.
The notebooks were all hand-sewn and feature a mix of ruled, plain, and even velvet paper. Colours like mustard, turquoise, blue, pink, red, and black were combined in different ways and in two formats: one vertical and the other horizontal.
The collection is called PAPEL DA CASA, it is a limited edition, and this is the description that appears in each notebook, on a piece of old paper: "This notebook is made of sheets with many years, origins, and destinations that allow us to imagine professions, occupations, and rituals that probably no longer exist. In this collection, making use of something that is no longer used was our role. May the story continue."
